Performance Extras Order Window Closes Monday, March 29

- T-Shirt | Featuring the Into the Sea logo on the front and the entire cast list on the back.
- Earrings | Diamond-style stud earrings are not required, but they add lovely sparkle!
- Extra Dress Rehearsal Pass | Each dancer may purchase one additional dress rehearsal pass to accommodate one additional Dress Rehearsal guest.
Please click HERE to make your Performance Extras selections.
For future reference, you can find the order form on our website via the
Parent Portal>Performance Hub>RSVP & Order Form.
In-Studio Run-Through | May 16
Saturday, May 16, all Sparkle and Ripple students will participate in an in-studio run-through of the Spring Performance at Pure Dance Works.
In-studio run-through is required for all performing students.
We will make rare exceptions for major life events such as weddings, confirmations, etc. An absence must be requested and excused by the office ahead of time.
Assistants dancing on stage with a younger class and lead roles must attend the In-Studio Run-Through and practice all dances they will perform on stage.
Please visit the Performance Hub > In-Studio Run-Through for complete details including call times and estimated dismissal times by class.
Portrait Sign-Up Now Open
Heather Bienz will be taking professional posed portraits at the studio on Friday, May 22 from 3:00-8:30 PM.
If you would like professional portraits of your child, sibling sets, or a group of friends in their performance costume(s), you can schedule your appointment now!
Please visit the Performance Hub>In Studio Portraits Page>Photo Page to review the details and access the sign-up link.
Sign-ups open today and will close when spots fill.
Music
We’ve begun to place class music for Into the Sea Music on the Class Assignments page for wish to practice their dance at home.
You can now find your child’s music in the Parent Portal>Performance Hub>Class Assignments.
This service is provided solely at multiple parents’ request. Practice makes perfect, so if your child thinks practicing at home is fun, go for it!
Students with good attendance will be well-prepared in class and are not required to practice at home.
During the next parent week, you can record your child’s dance from the back for another optional at-home practice tool.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS | The Pure Dance Works Brand Story
Pure Dance Works’ name is based on the belief that dance, like all aspects of our lives, should be pure and free from negative or distasteful influences. There is a double meaning in the name:
We produce works of dance that are pure.
But diving deeper … when we seek to live a life of purity, the impact on our sphere of influence is beneficial and far-reaching. Dance does not need to succumb to popular culture to be “good.” In fact, the opposite is true: Pure Dance WORKS.

Pure Dance Works’ current logo was originally developed in 2018 and refined in 2020 to signify that dance makes an impact that ripples beyond a single moment in time.
The encompassing circle signifies the community that holds us all together. It protects our community, amplifies our intention to spread ripples of kindness worldwide, and echoes the idea of a compass to guide us.
Pure water represents our mission to preserve childhood innocence, while the ripples symbolize our intention to nurture confident leadership.
The large, clean font boldly proclaims our core value of PURE.
The ombre effect signifies the progressive color-coded levels Ripple students advance through from beginner to advanced.
The impact of the dancer in the water drop on the ripples portrays our vision to make a positive impact on children worldwide as our programs ripple beyond the studio into the lives of individuals who are touched by Pure Dance Works.
Classes commonly chant “3-2-1, Impact!” at the end of class. Our beloved students are an integral part of our mission to spread positivity throughout our community and beyond.
BON VOYAGE!
