Hello, %contact_first_name%!

Welcome to the March 23, 2026 issue of The Navigator. This is your weekly 3-minute studio update.

WEEK ONE DONE!

How was the first week of the Spring Season in Dewdrop Dance?

New faces and new adventures can lead to joy as well as a bit of anxiety as everyone adjusts to a new class.

I'd love to hear your favorite thing about the Dewdrop Dance!

And if you have any concerns, please send them my way. We aim to provide an enchanting experience for every family each week.

You can always reach me at [email protected].

SPRING BREAK | March 30-April 5

Spring Break will be observed from Monday, March 30-Sunday, April 5.

The building will be closed, no classes will be held and no one will be in the office.

The office staff will respond to emails and phone calls as usual.

WHY DEWDROP DANCE IS A TECH-FREE ZONE

A Phone-Free Reminder

Parents are encouraged to remain focused on class during Dewdrop Dance. Please keep your phone put away. Even taking photos reduces the magic of real-time connection and interaction.

Check out this article: Why Should Parents Limit Their Phone Use Around Their Kids? It cites a study of moms and babies 7-23 months old that found:

  • Babies expressed increased negative emotion and decreased positive emotion when their mothers engaged in screen time.

  • Babies did not return to their original level of engagement during the reunion period with their mothers. They explored the room less, possibly because they placed increased focus on reuniting with their mothers.

  • When parents are distracted by their phones, children may seek attention. They may melt down, or work to reengage with their parents in other ways.

Dewdrop Dance is a beautiful, tech-free zone designed to provide 45 minutes of focused engagement for you, your toddler, and your Dewdrop community.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS | Level

Dewdrop adventures to outer space allow little dancers to explore the concept of Level.

Space pliés take dancers on a lower level while catching a shooting star requires reaching up high.

The most fun level exploration may be Saturn Spinning, where we spin low and high!

Level is an essential movement concept for dancers, one they will carry with them in future dance training, whether their feet are on the ground or in outer space.

BON VOYAGE!
