Beginner to intermediate/advanced ballet students will find themselves immersed in the world of the story ballet The Sleeping Beauty. Between learning classical choreography and creating their own props, students will also discover the world of dance history, choreographers, orchestras, conductors and proper nutrition for a dancer's body. Nutritious snacks are provided daily while students view segments of The Royal Ballet's The Sleeping Beauty. A placement class the first day will divide students into groups of similar ability levels. A short performance for parents will be presented on the last day (Friday, July 21 at 3:00 PM).
